I am looking for an article. The thin plotline that I remember is that it involved a graduate student whose thesis is a computer. He called it 'Box' if I'm not mistaken, not sure if that's the name of the article or not.

I think I screwed up the formatting--I added the pub info for "Forever" by Damon Knight, which was published November 1981...
"Ike at the Mike" by Howard Waldrop was first published June 1982. If someone else can fix up the formatting and add the info, super. |
